Overview

One of the most common reasons people leave their job is because they feel unappreciated. One poll found 70% of workers received no praise or recognition at their workplace. This training course teaches the ideas from Gary Chapman’s book, The 5 Love Languages, to show employees they are appreciated.

The ideas outlined in the book have been adapted for the workplace and include four of the book’s principles: words of affirmation; tangible gifts; quality time; and acts of service.

For example, viewers learn how appreciation can be expressed through quality time. This can be accomplished by giving one’s undivided attention when talking and meeting. Quality conversations require listening without interrupting, maintaining eye contact, and not multi-tasking while conversing.

Take this course to learn how to express appreciation in the workplace and increase employee loyalty and retention.
