Dialogue: Now You're Talking! Dialogue Among Generations

This training video shows how challenging workplace situations can be addressed through constructive communication and open dialogue. Airing concerns and viewpoints by engaging in a group dialogue sheds light on issues within differing generations of teammates and leads to better understanding of individual and group needs. Viewers watch constructive communication unfold, which demonstrates the six principles of effective dialogues.

By working through their differences and concerns, teammates of different generations are better able to understand one another’s needs and rationale more clearly, reflect upon their own behaviors and biases, and recognize their own role in improving communication in the workplace. This is an appropriate video for those who work in multi-generational teams as well as for the entire workplace.
