Hazard Communication – Industrial and Construction Workplaces

Employees must understand the hazards and necessary safety precautions related to the chemicals they work with or around. Hazard communication training helps them understand where to go for the information and how to interpret it. This month we have two new hazard communication courses for industrial facilities and construction sites.

Both courses demonstrate the use of different sources of Hazmat information, how exposures occur, the use of PPE, safe storage of chemicals, and spill response. They cover some specifics on the dangers of toxins, corrosives, irritants, carcinogens, radioactive materials, flammables, combustibles, and oxidizers.

Working From Home” helps those starting to work from home, or work from home veterans, learn best practices to maximize productivity and wellbeing. The course is geared more toward someone used to working in an office environment, and explores tips for structing your day, managing time, and maintaining personal wellness.

Remote Worker: Safety, Health and Security” takes a more safety-focused approach, providing practical tips on how to create a workspace at home that is free from hazards and is OSHA-compliant. This course touches on fall prevention, fire safety, ergonomics, and computer security.
