Creating A Positive Compliance Mindset Part 1: Becoming Aware

Rules and regulations are meant to protect and maintain order, but people react differently to them. For example, some individuals feel a sense of security, while others feel constrained. Compliance professionals have the challenge of working with people from different departments to ensure they are complying with the company’s policies and procedures.

This training course is the first installment of an interactive 4-part series teaching compliance professionals how to focus on positive outcomes. Part 1 teaches how to become aware through self-reflection and by assessing competencies. Viewers are shown how to use a Professional Wheel to chart one’s effectiveness in areas such as Tech Savvy, Collaborating with Others, and Communication. The facilitator, Laura Goodrich, emphasizes the importance of focusing on what we want, and shares success stories of professionals she has worked with.
